Days 5-6

Combined updates for days 5 and 6 because I was too tired to write on day 5 and we didn’t have much to update you on other than how tired we were. I was literally in bed by 7:45 and dead asleep by 9 pm.

Day 6 wasn’t as bad. I had a slight hiccup at work – I forgot my lunch! We had a catered lunch with a salad I picked the cheese and croutons off of and found some chicken I didn’t eat last week. Whew, that could have been much worse. I’m thinking next week I’ll bring a back-up lunch in case that happens again.

After work I went to a boot camp class – felt a little fatigued but I made it through. P went to spin class and also reported slight fatigue. Gym time was followed by the most exciting part of the day, TACOS!! Y’all if you’re trying to get through Whole30, cook things you are excited about. We found these grain free tortillas at Whole Foods Paycheck last weekend. So tonight we made barbacoa tacos (from the Whole30 slow cooker book) with a side of baked plantains. YUM YUM YUM.

Tomorrow I’ll go grocery shopping since I have the day off. We are still doing great on the financial cleanse, but it’s pretty easy during the weekdays. We are still trying to decide what cheap or free entertainment to check out this weekend. Please share any favorite Whole30 recipes and favorite cheap/free weekend activities!
